People counting camera · Sayiyo PEOPLE
How does an AI camera people counter work?
Sayiyo PEOPLE is an AI camera people counter mounted above the store door. It counts people entering the store anonymously; images are processed on the device and never recorded. All data is anonymous and aggregate; there is no person recognition or face recognition.
A single device covers up to 6 metres of door width with a 120° field of view and delivers up to 99% accuracy in controlled tests. Entry data flows to the Sayiyo dashboard and shows hourly entries and peak hours; with sales integration it forms the basis for the conversion rate.
Sayiyo PEOPLE is designed and manufactured in Türkiye by our in-house R&D team. Sayiyo serves retailers across Türkiye and Northern Cyprus, with 1,000+ active devices.
Does it collect personal data?
No. The data is anonymous and aggregate; there is no person recognition or face recognition. Entry counts become anonymous statistics only.
Is any footage stored?
The AI camera processes images only on the device; no video or photo is recorded. Only anonymous counts are sent to the dashboard in roughly 10-minute periods.
What is the accuracy rate?
Up to 99% in controlled tests; about 95% on average in the field.
How many devices do I need?
One per entrance. A single device covers up to 6 m of door width; wider entrances need more.
What if the internet drops?
The device stores data locally for up to 20 days and sends it automatically once the connection returns; no gaps in counting.
Does Sayiyo PEOPLE count exits or occupancy?
No. Sayiyo PEOPLE counts entries only. It does not count exits, live occupancy, age, gender, children or repeat visitors, and it offers no forecasts or staffing suggestions. Reports are scheduled in the dashboard and delivered by email, not WhatsApp.
