Sayiyo PASS storefront passers-by counter

Storefront footfall: how many passers-by walk past your window, and how many step inside?

PASS measures storefront footfall: its radar sensor counts the pedestrians passing in front of your store and analyses their direction; it captures no images. Used together with PEOPLE, it also computes the visit rate (entries ÷ passers-by).

Storefront footfall · Sayiyo PASS

Storefront footfall and visit rate

Sayiyo PASS anonymously counts the pedestrian traffic passing in front of your store with a radar sensor and analyses its direction. Used together with Sayiyo PEOPLE, it computes the visit rate — the share of passers-by who walk in.

The visit rate quantifies the performance of your window, façade and location. You measure the impact of a window change, a campaign or a sign the same day, not weeks later from sales.

Sayiyo PASS is designed and manufactured in Türkiye by our in-house R&D team. Sayiyo serves retailers across Türkiye and Northern Cyprus, on high streets and in shopping malls.

What’s the difference between PASS and PEOPLE?

PEOPLE counts people entering the door with an AI camera; PASS counts people passing the storefront with a radar sensor. Together they give the visit rate.

How does Sayiyo PASS work?

Sayiyo PASS is a radar sensor aimed at the storefront. It counts the pedestrians passing by, anonymously, and analyses their direction of travel.

How is the visit rate calculated?

Visit rate = people entering the store ÷ people passing the storefront. Example: 1,284 entries ÷ 6,020 passers-by ≈ 21.3%. Entries come from Sayiyo PEOPLE and passers-by from Sayiyo PASS; the Sayiyo dashboard matches the two hour by hour.

Is personal data processed?

No. PASS works with a radar sensor; only anonymous passing and direction are measured, and no image or identity data is processed.
